Matthew Bonness is an associate with Berk Law, focusing on consumer-protection class actions and whistleblower lawsuits. Having served as judicial clerk to the Hon. Robert H. Hodges, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and practiced with an eminent national law firm, well known for its government contracting practice, Matt is experienced with federal procurement, disbarment, and False Claims Act matters involving the defense, information technology, and health care sectors. Matt has also litigated a variety of product liability mass torts and class actions in the federal courts.
Matt earned his law degree from the Duke University School of Law, where he won the annual Dean’s Cup moot court competition and graduated in 2003. Previously, he studied political science at Indiana University, from which he graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, in 2000.
